About me

My name is  Maksymilian Grycz, and I am a senior high school student from Poland. I’ve been fascinated with science and problem-solving for as long as I can remember. I consider myself a fast learner and a very social person. During the middle of my junior year, after much consideration about my future career path, I decided to pursue a career in AI.

After graduating from high school, I plan to enroll at the Wroclaw University of Technology, Poland's top engineering university. However, my ambitions extend beyond that. This autumn, I will apply to a university in the USA, hoping for acceptance. Getting this internship will provide me with valuable experience at a young age and bring you a determined and ambitious young worker.

To illustrate my intellectual vitality, I’d like to share a bit about my experiences. In high school, I follow a bilingual curriculum with an extended focus on math and physics, which are among my greatest passions. For fun, and without much preparation, I have participated in various national and international math competitions, often earning distinctions for my efforts.

My academic background and experiences align well with the objectives of the internships I am applying for. I am passionate about developing my skills in computer science and am eager to grow further through hands-on experience. I already possess basic knowledge in Python and am highly motivated to learn anything else required before starting the internship.

Why I Am Applying

In the summer between my junior and senior years, I interned at AMBIT, an industrial construction company in Leszno. During this three-week internship, I assisted co-workers with their projects and valuations and spent one week on a construction site as a construction manager assistant. While I enjoyed the experience, I realized that this career path wasn’t for me due to the slower development pace in this field. Nevertheless, I consider it a valuable learning experience.

Over the past two years, I have actively participated in numerous business and startup competitions, developing prototypes of our ideas, as demonstrated on the left. The highlight of these was the Econverse Cup competition, Poland’s largest startup simulation competition. My team reached the finals and won the Audience Award, placing in the Top 4 out of 100 teams. Additionally, I am the president of my school’s economics club. In this role, I have organized visits to local businesses and enterprises and supported other club members with their projects. In 2025, I became an ambassador of Econverse IA Ready - a nonprofit project co-created with Microsoft that aims to educate young people about AI and the benefits of using it.

My Experience

And also my other hobby which is astronomy. I am passionate about the cosmos and watching planets, nebulas and galaxies is a great way to develop that passion.

My main hobby is definetely Triathlon. I dedicate around 12 hours a week for trainign. I already have some big achievements like 2nd place in my age group in National AG Sprint Championships or winning the entire race event.
